I'm Jeff Seidel. I am a proud member of Columbia Country Club in Columbia, SC. Have been for 28 years...every once in a while a conversation sticks. Back mid-summer 2 years ago, our PGA Golf Pro, Chris Sparrow, asked me if I sold batteries.  He mentioned that members kept asking if he carried batteries as their range-finder's or one of the other hand held battery devices needed one. This inspired an idea. Why did he ask me?  I  have an Ad-Specialty business  (www.amcbranding.com) and he figured I might be able to help him. The process began, and with his & Scott Amey's (his #1 Assistant) invaluable input over the months I was able to create this website which is intended to fill this needed void with wholesale battery prices to Proshops. These devices have grown so fast that this market needed filling. Send us a new customer and we'll send you back a $20 bill! 

     It's a "guy thing."  Who buys an extra battery to keep in your bag, and who remembers it's there?  Or the last time you replaced it?  I can't. And I have two Bushnell's (One 9V and one 3V Lithium) plus a Bag Boy Navigator Golf Cart that also uses a hand held remote (yet another 9V to keep track of..) And none of the numerous golfers I have spoken to over the summer can remember the last time they replaced their batteries, until it goes bad, which is usually on the golf course...mine went out during a round and I "borrowed" a battery from the Bag Boy remote in my bag (I was lucky to have it there) and slapped it in the Bushnell...then forgot to replace the other battery. Go figure.

So  here I am, giving a history and thanks to my ProShop. (Incidentally, CCC's 27 holes are in great shape! Come by and play! Use me as a reference to get on the course!) Part of each sale goes to the First Tee. Who knows...when these kids grow up they hopefully will keep playing and buy range-finders!
